This study examines how Romanians planned and experienced their summer vacations in 2025, shedding light on travel preferences, budget considerations, climate concerns, and shifting work-life boundaries. While 3 out of 4 respondents took a vacation, many faced financial constraints, worked remotely during their trips, or altered plans due to extreme weather risks. Domestic destinations remain popular, though often criticized for high prices and poor service. The findings reflect a broader transformation: shorter, carefully planned holidays shaped by digital habits, economic pressure, and a growing awareness of environmental unpredictability.
