In this week's issue, we're going to learn more about 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗮 𝗩𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘂, our 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘀. ❤️ She is a dynamic, energetic person who enjoys cooking a lot and is always willing to help. Coco, her parrot, is always on duty and adds beauty to every day. 🥰
What are the first three words you would describe yourself with? With which of these words do you think your friends would describe you?
The first three words that come into my mind when I think about myself are: cheerful, friendly and loyal. I’m not sure, but I think my friends would agree with me as I’m always there when they need me and I would support them with anything I can
What makes you happy? How does this contribute to your well-being?
There are a lot of things that make me happy like a good coffee, a trip with friends or just a night at home with my boyfriend watching movies and eating junk food. Those are the things that make the life worth living and bring a smile to my face.
How did you end up getting your childhood nickname, who gave it to you, and what were your feelings towards it? And since we're at it, can you share it with us?
I never had a childhood nickname. 😊
What taste or smell reminds you of childhood? Do you still encounter this taste or smell today and where?
My grandma used to bake an apple cake that did not look amazing but it tasted like heaven. She doesn’t bake it anymore unfortunately and I did not find anything similar to it. Maybe she will give me the recipe someday.
What did you want to become when you were little? How did this desire come about? Do you still dream of becoming this?
When I was little, I dreamed of becoming a guitar player. I even got a classic blue guitar at the age of 14 and learned to play it by watching and following online courses. My friends and high school colleagues are the only public I ever got and I stopped 2 years later as I wanted to have long nails. My guitar is still at my grandma’s place waiting for me to start again.
What is the most beautiful place you have traveled to?
I do not travel much, but I really liked visiting Turkey. The first thing that make me fall in love with this country’s seaside is the fact that there are so many friendly cats on the streets and I got to pet every cat I saw. They also have the most delicious sweets so I think I’ll go back there in the summer.
If you were to live the rest of your life on a deserted island, what would be the three things you would take with you? What do these things symbolize for you? How would these things help you?
If I would find myself in a situation to live for the rest of my life on a deserted island, I would bring with me the following items:
- A solar battery powered satellite phone in order for me to contact people in case I find myself in a situation that I could not handle
- A non-depletable water filter to bypass the lack of drinkable water
- And a sharp axe in order for me to skip the initial resource gathering step and confection of base tools and weapons
If you could have a talent, what would it be? But what talent do you have?
I would like to learn how to dance someday because I love to express myself in any way possible and I consider dancing a unique mode of showing emotions through movement and subtitle expressions. As far as my talents go, I can play the guitar thing that I cherish because sometimes it gave me a distraction from the world around me but also a thing that I can focus almost all my senses: touch, hearing and voice.
What is it that annoys you the most? What is the reason why it annoys you and how do you manage to calm down?
My weak spot is when people argue around me and I can’t help or give useful advice on the argued matter. It is my weak spot because I love to be in a peaceful environment thing that is not always possible keeping count that I can’t control what other feel or consider but as an escape plan from these situations I usually put my headphones on and play some of my favorite music until the outside ‘chaos’ finishes or tampers down to a manageable by me state.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would like to be less affected by the fact that I care about small or casual matters. Everyone thinks I care too much about things that I shouldn’t. I get consumed and I put my heart in everything that I do.
What's the weirdest thing you've ever done after a drunkenness?
I don’t usually get drunk but when I do, I just laugh at anything and sing.
Who inspires you? How does this help you in your daily life? What do you think you inspire others?
The person that inspires me is my boyfriend because he is the strongest and most honest person I know. He helps me everyday and inspires me to be my best self. I believe I inspire others to be more positive as I tend to see the bright side of a bad situation.
If you could have dinner with anyone in this world, who would that person be? What would you like to know from this person?
I would like to have dinner with Beyonce and would like to ask her how is it possible for one woman to do all of her activities and still look that beautiful. Is there a secret or it’s just a big team of people that take care of her every wrinkle and dark eye circle.
If you ruled the world for a day, what would be the first thing you would do?
If I ruled the world for a day, I would make the police even stricter to make sure any women / girl would not fear getting outside by herself at night.
What would you like people to say about you at your death?
At my death I would like people to say that I was an amazing person and that I inspired them to be better.
If you found out you only had 24 hours to live, what would be the last 3 things you would do?
The last 3 things I would do is call all the persons I love, invite them over to spend the day with me, order my favorite meal and tell everyone how much they mean to me.
If you were to invest in something, what would you invest all your money in? What would you like to know from this person?
I would not invest all my money in one thing because that is a free pass for me to become bankrupt by a decision that could not be mine or ran through by me. I keep a safety net found in case I or my loved ones need immediate assistance by any means and the rest I would invest in a cause that works into advancing technology for us to live in a better environment but sadly no current cause has convinced me.
What is the best dish for you when you cook?
The best dish for me when I cook is pasta carbonara. It is delicious.
If you were your boss for a day, what would you do?
I would give myself a big raise just for the fact that I am a great and dedicated person to my job 😊, just kidding. I respect my boss and consider that all the actions that he takes are ethical and correct therefore I would not do anything different from what he usually does.
If you were dating 7 years ago, what advice would you give? How do you think this advice would help you?
I would tell my past self to be more confident because the world does not stop at the first person that you are dating and can choose what she considers best for her.
What do you think is the first thing people notice about you and what do you think they think about you?
I think that people tend to notice my outgoing personality in social environments because a lot of people tend to be shy at first encounters with new persons but that never stopped me from being friendly.
