Throughout the conference, did you come across any emerging market research trends or innovative techniques that particularly captured your interest?
Zamfir Dunose: Many presenters highlighted how AI-powered tools are revolutionizing data analysis, predictive modeling, and consumer sentiment analysis. The ability to process massive amounts of unstructured data and derive actionable insights in real time is reshaping how we approach research and make informed business decisions.
Ethics and privacy also emerged as a prominent theme throughout the conference. With increasing concerns about data privacy and the responsible use of consumer information, I found it heartening to witness discussions on incorporating ethical considerations into research design and participant engagement.
Cristian Craciun: During the conference, I came across several emerging market research trends and innovative techniques that captured my interest. These advancements are shaping the future of market research and have the potential to revolutionize the way businesses gather insights and make informed decisions.
One trend that stood out is the increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in market research. Another trend that caught my attention is the growing emphasis on real-time data collection and analysis. Furthermore, there is a rising focus on incorporating behavioral science principles into market research methodologies.
What were your initial thoughts or observations about interacting with Americans?
Cristian Craciun: I did not notice any difference at all, everyone was nice, open to discussions, trying to help, everyone was smiling and so on… in the end, we are all humas so no matter from which part of the world you came from, a smile should never miss!
Zamfir Dunose: I couldn't help but notice the positive energy that seemed to radiate from every conversation. Americans have a unique way of infusing their interactions with optimism and a can-do attitude. It was uplifting and contagious, creating an environment where collaboration and learning felt like second nature.
Not forget the incredible hospitality. I was amazed by the genuine interest that attendees took in getting to know each other. Whether it was exchanging stories during breaks, engaging in discussions during sessions, or bonding over common interests, the sense of community was truly heartwarming.
While in New York, did you have the opportunity to try any local cuisine? How would you compare the food there to Romanian cuisine?
Zamfir Dunose: Comparing the food to Romanian cuisine is like comparing two entirely different chapters of a cookbook. New York's food scene is a vibrant kaleidoscope of flavors and cultures, each dish telling its own delicious story, while Romanian cuisine holds a special place in my heart.
However, one thing that both cuisines share is a deep appreciation for food and the joy of sharing a meal with others. Just like back home in Romania, the joy of gathering around the table, sharing stories, and savoring each bite was a common thread that transcends cultural boundaries.
Cristian Craciun: It is definitely
different, from product sizes to different tastes even for the common brands/products but one thing is for sure, there's nothing better than what you are used with!
While I don't usually find SUA's food that healthy, I would definitely try it a few times a month!
In comparison to other conferences you've attended, how would you rate your experience at Quirk's Conference?
Cristian Craciun: If I have to give a rate to this fair, I would definitely say 10 out of 10! And it is not only about the event itself, it is also about the vibe of the city!
Zamfir Dunose: Quirk's New York Conference 2023 surpassed my conference expectations, offering a unique blend of expert insights, practical applications, and engaging networking. It stands as one of the best conference experiences I've had, setting a high standard for future events.
