Iuliana Isariev, our Project Associate EMEA is a positive person and a key person in our team. She graduated from foreign language and literature, more precisely, Japanese, being in love with this culture. She is also passionate about cooking and loves sweets.

If you could be a crayon, what color would you be? What’s the meaning behind it?

Purple crayon. Is a color that is associated with creativity and mystery and I consider myself a creative person with a bit of mystery.

What do you think about when you’re alone in your car?

I just think about things I need to do that day, nothing special.

What’s your favorite ‘90s jam?

“Truly Madly Deeply” by Savage Garden. I really like the music from 90' and 00', I’m an old soul.


What’s the last tv show you watched?

La Casa de Papel. Season 5 not so good in my opinion.


What are you known for?

I am known for being very organized, especially with my finances.

What’s the most interesting thing about you that it’s not put up in your resume?

Don't know if it’s interesting but I make decor things when inspiration strikes.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

I don't have a productivity trick, usually I just take a small break and eat something sweet, it helps.



What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy day?

A bubble bath is all I need after a busy day and a good movie.

What three words would your friends use to describe you? Why?

My friends would say that I am an over tinker because it take me some time to decide on simple things.

If you could add one thing to the DataDiggers office, what would it be?

A microwave would be good, so you could reheat your lunch if needed.

What’s the first concert you ever went to?

The first concert that I ever went to is ‘Coma’ (Romanian alternative rock band).

If you had to pick one age to be permanently, which age would you choose? Why?

I would choose 20, having all the freedom, earning my own money.

If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?

‘All you need is cake’, a recipe book it will be my choice because I’m a private person and would not expose my life in a book.

What was your first job?

My first job was as a kitchen worker in a fast food restaurant.

What’s one professional skill you’re currently working on?

I’m working on improving my communication skills.

What do you do at DataDiggers and in what circumstances would I come to you for something?

I’m in charge of conducting the fieldwork stage for different online market research surveys.

How do you prefer to start your day?

Usually I start my day with a cup of tea and some toast while watching some YouTube videos.

What’s one thing that surprised you about working at DataDiggers?

I was really surprised by how friendly everyone is.


What’s the biggest misconception people have about your position?

Biggest misconception people have is that project managers should finish every project. When managing a project the reality is significantly different.


What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to and why?

A place I often traveled to is Brasov. It’s a nice city with beautiful views and food.

Who is your hero?

My parents are my heroes. They worked extremely hard their whole lives to make sure that me and my little brother would have all we need.


If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

I would like to live in Japan. I have always been a big fan of Japan and its culture.

What’s your favorite podcast show and why should I listen to it?

I'm sorry I don't listen to any podcasts.

What’s your favorite quote from a tv show/movie/book?

“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

What’s the phone app you use the most?

Instagram.

How do you take your coffee/tea?

Cold. I make my tea and forget about it.

Do you have a work best friend? Who is it?

Hmm, I don’t know, hope so.

How do you pick yourself back up after making a mistake at work?

I acknowledge the mistake and try not to do it again.

Have you ever had the “imposter syndrome”?

Yes I had, but I’m working on overcoming this.

What’s the best thing you’ve learned in your current position?

If I make a mistake it isn't something someone else didn't do it before me.

What’s the best clothing item you’ve ever bought?

Best items bought must be my sneakers. Love them.

What’s the most stupid thing you’ve ever bought?

I bought a watch and never worn it.
