Getting to know DataDiggers - Priyanshi Jain (Sales Coordinator APAC)

Currently pursuing a post-graduate program in Business Administration, Priyanshi Jain, our Sales Coordinator APAC, enjoys sketching, listening to good music, and travelling!

And recently she agreed to take part in our special series of interviews called "Getting to know DataDiggers"!

So let's see what kind of insights we can learn about her & how she's changing the world and the market research industry through her work.

What does working in the market research industry mean to you?

As per my view, working in the market research industry gives all the possible insights about the current situations, which further helps in understanding the latest trends.

From whom in the market research industry have you learned most in your career?

I believe learning is a never-ending process and each day you get to learn more. However, Sparsh and Anurag have really helped me to understand the concepts and workings of this industry.

Thinking about your career, what is the achievement you are most proud of?

As my career has just begun, I have learned many things so far, and I am still learning. I am looking forward to achieving heights while working with the DataDiggers team.

What does success mean to you?

For me, success means when I make my family proud and happy with my little achievements.

What do you do to move forward in the profession you have chosen?

I try to be more focused, confident and optimistic.

Is there something new that you have learned in the last 2-3 years, in your career, or in your daily life, which you find is important?

Try to be happy with what you have in hand. Time is precious. Don’t lament over things that make you feel bad.

If you were able to meet yourself, at the moment when you first got hired, what advice would you give to your younger self?

“YOU CAN DO IT”!

If you were to give advice to one of your former managers, what would that be?

Employees need motivation and appreciation in order to stay motivated.

Why did you choose to work in the market research industry?

I was always fascinated with the research subject. The market research industry fits well and hence, I can happily work in the area of my interest.

What was your ‘dream career’ when you were little?

To be honest, I was quite fickle regarding my dream career. First, I wanted to be a teacher, then I wanted to be an astronaut and then a fashion designer.

What do you think is the most important thing in life?

Well, the answer is pretty much simple and beautiful “HAPPINESS”.

What are you planning to do on your next vacation?

Chilling out with friends on a mountain top.

What is making you get up from bed even when you have a bad day?

“It’s a matter of time. This thing shall pass, too.”

What are your dearest memories, some that you always think of with joy?

My college life with my friends

If you could change something from the past, make a different decision, what would it be and why?

I would like to change the habit of unnecessarily pleasing others. As of now I believe, it’s not going to help me in any way, and it only takes my peace of mind that ruins my own happiness.

If you could go anywhere in the world, at any time in the past, what would that be and why? Can you name one hobby that you really enjoy?

I love sketching and I really enjoy doing it.

What’s your favourite book and why?

“The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck” by Mark Manson because this book tells you to heed on more important things and give less/ no attention to the temporary things that are just going to ruin your moments.
